Best Fall Workout Attire

Here in the Lowcountry, Fall season can be pretty unpredictable. One day it feels like winter and the next day it feels like summer. Just because the weather can’t get it together doesn’t mean your wardrobe should suffer! Take a look at a few of the best ways to stay on top of your game without being defeated by the Lowcountry fall weather!

  1. Versatility- Dressing in layers is a great way to help yourself adjust to the temperature while running. Depending on what time of day you run, if the weather starts off cool and rises to higher temperatures you can always remove a layer and stuff it in your backpack.
  2. Covering Up – Face masks and scarves are great ways to cover up and block out the cold wind that may cause you to get sick. Beat the cold and stay warm while running with insulated socks, mittens that’ll keep your blood flowing!
  3. Waterproof Materials – Fall brings on the rainy season! To protect yourself from the cold rain, choosing waterproof material is important if you want to stay warm and dry. It is good to invest in waterproof trail sneakers as well.
