The Unveiling Of The 2018 Cooper River Bridge Run Design

William Waitzman is well known for his illustrations and in this case was inspired by the ways of the Lowcountry and the view of the bridge from Shem Creek. He is a printmaker, painter and illustrator. The talented artist says he finds screen printing appealing because it allows him to combine drawing and painting and he finds it satisfying to create multiple original prints of the same image. He frequently visits Mount Pleasant, where his mother, brother and sister reside.

We are thrilled to have such a beautifully executed design to represent the 41st Annual Cooper River Bridge Run!
